PARENT SUPPORT
Institute curricula provides parents of young readers with home activities that foster a love of reading, and teaches them how to encourage and assist their child's efforts to learn to read.
For students from preschool age through high school, the Institute has developed resources to help parents and students choose good books at an appropriate level of difficulty. These include a series of reading development booklists that summarize hundreds of excellent, age-appropriate books, divided into sections according to level of difficulty. These booklists work hand in hand with an individualized guidance that enables parents and students to select good books at the appropriate level of challenge.
